ProDelta sells Distriport Tilburg to CBRE Global Investor

ProDelta has sold the Distriport Tilburg logistics centre to CBRE Global Investors. The DC has a total area of more than 70,000 m², including mezzanine and office space.

Distriport Tilburg is located on the Vossenberg West II business park, alongside the Barge Terminal Tilburg and is one of the largest industrial buildings on the business park. CBRE Global Investors acquired the logistics centre for a high-quality and sustainable logistics property portfolio of its client.

For three years in a row Tilburg has been voted the number 1 logistics hotspot in the Netherlands, thanks to its proximity to the ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp, good motorway connections with Germany and the European hinterland, and a direct link with Railport Brabant connecting it to central, southern and eastern Europe. The distribution centre is fully let for the long term to XPO Logistics which runs the European e-commerce operations for fashion retailer H&M.

Distriport Tilburg is a sustainable development, focusing on the responsible use of land, materials and natural resources. The complex was given BREEAM-NL Good certification in April this year. The roof, covering an area of 60,000 m2, has the largest solar power system in Brabant with a total of 24,310 solar panels. This system, with a power capacity of 6.3 million kWh, supplies 1,800 households with renewable energy.

ProDelta was advised by De Mik Bedrijfshuisvesting on the commercial aspects of the sale of Distriport Tilburg, and by Loyens & Loeff on the legal and tax aspects. The purchaser, CBRE Global Investors, received commercial assistance from 3Stone Real Estate and BNP Paribas Real Estate and legal assistance from Houthoff.
